Nothing purifies like knowledge

In this world there is nothing as purifying as knowledge. One perfected in yoga finds it within oneself in due course of time.

न हि ज्ञानेन सदृशं पवित्रमिह विद्यते ।
तत्स्वयं योगसंसिद्धः कालेनात्मनि विन्दति ॥

na hi jñānena sadṛśaṃ pavitramiha vidyate .
tatsvayaṃ yogasaṃsiddhaḥ kālenātmani vindati ॥

True knowledge is not mere information but the realisation of oneself and of God. It removes confusion and faults from the mind as the sun removes darkness.

Life lesson: give some time every day to studying and reflecting on sacred texts.
