I am Time, the destroyer of worlds
I am mighty Time, the destroyer of the worlds, engaged here in destroying them. Even without you, the warriors arrayed in the opposing armies will not survive.
श्रीभगवानुवाच ।
कालोऽस्मि लोकक्षयकृत्प्रवृद्धो
लोकान्समाहर्तुमिह प्रवृत्तः ।
ऋतेऽपि त्वां न भविष्यन्ति सर्वे
येऽवस्थिताः प्रत्यनीकेषु योधाः ॥
śrībhagavānuvāca .
kālo.asmi lokakṣayakṛtpravṛddho lokānsamāhartumiha pravṛttaḥ .
ṛte.api tvāṃ na bhaviṣyanti sarve ye.avasthitāḥ pratyanīkeṣu yodhāḥ ॥

During the vision of the universal form, the Lord reveals Himself as Time. Arjuna then understands that he is only an instrument and that all is happening by God's will.
Life lesson: time is the greatest teacher; do not waste it.
