Abandon all and take refuge in Me alone

Abandoning all varieties of duty, take refuge in Me alone. I shall free you from all sins; do not grieve.

सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज ।
अहं त्वा सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा शुचः ॥

sarvadharmānparityajya māmekaṃ śaraṇaṃ vraja .
ahaṃ tvāṃ sarvapāpebhyo mokṣyayiṣyāmi mā śucaḥ ॥

This is the culminating word of the Gita's teaching. After all the paths, Shri Krishna gives the simplest one: complete surrender. One who trusts the Lord fully has nothing left to grieve over.

Life lesson: make your full effort, then hand yourself over to God with complete trust.
